What the honours are actually measuring.
These aren't trophies collected for their own sake. Each one marks a moment when the work of connecting investors to entrepreneurs was recognised by the people closest to it — a state treasurer's office, a room of Orange County investors, a community that watched the network grow.
The earliest honours came two decades before any of it: national scholarship recognition, a youth leadership forum in Silicon Valley, ten years to Eagle Scout. The through-line is the same one that runs through Global Capital Network today.
