New York based reggae artist Matisyahu has just cut off his long beard which he has rocked for quite a while and has now posted some pictures of his new shaved look on his Twitter as of tuesday. Though he is hasidic still somewhat and goes to synagogue every day he has mention that he is reclaiming himself and letting go of some of the religious rules though he is not sure if he is leaving the entire Orthodoxy.
Many came to know him during his 2004 debut where he launched “Shake Off The Dust…Arise” and a major hit “King Without a Crown” were launched with the crown seeing him with his familiar long beard now gone.
