The artist known as Fabolous, or officially John David Jackson, has been active in the music industry since 1995 and has been releasing hit after hit for quite a while. He has been known to perform with such acts as Jay-Z, Lil Mo, Ne-Yo, DJ Clue, and Roscoe Dash among others. Even his 2009 album, Loso’s Way sold over 99,000 copies in its first weak while debuting simultaneously on the Billboard 200. As of 2011, Fab. has sold over three million copies of his music cd’s in the United States alone and has released five albums total as well as receiving several top rankings in major media such as number 8 on MTV’s Hottest MC in the Game list during September 2009.
The music star has made his way onto the big screen and DVD’s as well through appearences such as Scary Movie 4 ( Film ) as well as on television showing up as himself on the Apprentice in 2005 and on The Game in 2011.
Fabolous has been nominated for awards from the BEW Awards, Grammy Awards, Source Awards, American Music Awards, Ascap Rhythm and Soul Music, as well as the Teen Choice awards showing that his fans as well as those around the world respect him as a musician and believe he has some skills. He has also appeared with other major artists such as Lil Wayne which add to his credibility and prove that he has what it takes to succeed in the music industry.
