Snapshot of ESPN 3's Website
ESPN3, a branch off of the major sports media network ESPN, was recently down during the Wimbeldon Women’s World Cup. The USA team was going against North Korea team and with Maria Sharapova having just gotten her spot in the semifinals this was definitely some bad timing. GigaOM reached out to ESPN3 and got a statement from them which acknowdledged that the site was down and that they were doing everything they could to get it back up. Later on the website GigaOM noted that the website had been back up and asked their users for any comments if they were having problems with the live streams. ( 1:35pm Pacific Time ).
