11/11/11 It is time to turn up the heat. Despite this being a very important day here at Global Good Group it is a big day around the world. It is the first time in history that we have had a date with all of the numbers at the same place. Some people were predicting the world would end; while others were just setting goals for this monumental day. Many internet groups are calling this the “Nerd New Year” and one group of hackers are lining the streets of Redwood City, in the heart of Silicon Valley, to have an outdoor hackathon as well as a party. People are going to be counting down to the 11:11:11 pm time space as well.One interesting thing is if you understand the binary system in computers it runs on a system of 1’s and 0’s which is how all digital data is ultimately transferred through networks and computers at its most fundamental level. Today means that all of the switches are on and here at Global Good Group our goal was to have all of our switches on by this date. We have just relaunched our homepage design, signed new ad network agreements, sped up our site and improved our technology and sharing in addition to many other improvements. We feel very strong that 2012 is going to be a major year for the Global Good Network and today is just the start now that all of the “switches” are “turned on” .
